OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2012. Krasny Kotelshchik started shipment of the first HRSG units for Cherepovetskaya GRES. It was supplied more than 230 tons of equipment on the Station Energy Unit site, including Main Gas Duct Panels and Ceiling Connecting Beams.

We remind, that on 14 of July, 2011 PJSC EMAlliance and PJSC Group E4 have signed a contract for design, manufacture and supply of HRSG at the new Energy Unit PGU-420 at Cherepovetskaya GRES (branch of "OGK-2"). Designing was made by the specialists of the Engineering Center EMAlliance-BSDB BP (Barnaul). Taganrog Boiler – Making Plant manufactures the equipment under the American company’s NOOTER/ERIKSEN, INC licence.

Krasny Kotelshchik specialists have finished the work on Inlet and Main Gas Ducts, Ceiling Connecting Beams, IP Drum, Stack and two Boiler modules of the HRSG at this Station. All in all the plant will manufacture more than 50 units of HRSG. It is planned to supply the production to the customer by the end of November 2012.

Equipment, manufactured with the usage of the latest technical decisions will allow to increase the operational reliability of the Boiler greatly as well as to increase the Energy Unit efficiency up to 60%.

Combined cycle Energy Unit 420 MW is planned to be set into operation at Cherepovetskaya GRES at the end of 2013. Commissioning of the new Energy Unit aims altogether station operation reliability improvement.
