April 23, 2012.As an important event marking the 40th anniversary for the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, cooperation projects were signed between Anhui Province and Kochi Prefecture, April 19. Governor Li Bin, who headed a delegation to visit Kochi, met with Masanao Ozaki, Governor of Kochi Prefecture and signed "The Memo of Deepening the Exchange and Cooperation between Anhui Government and Kochi Government".

Anhui and Kochi set up friendly relationship in 1994 and have conducted effective cooperations in the fields of trade, science, education, agriculture, forestry, culture, sports and talent training.

Secial cooperation memos on travel, forestry, agriculture and education were signed, according to the "The Memo of Deepening the Exchange and Cooperation between Anhui Government and Kochi Government". A cooperation memo was signed between Tianzhushan Geopark and Muroto Geopark.

Governor Li Bin and Masanao Ozaki also attended a celebrating meeting after the signing ceremony, and reviewed the historial period of 18 years. The two sides hope to strengthen the cooperation in future.
