OREANDA-NEWS. Starting May 2 UTair Aviation flights to European destinations from Vnukovo International Airport will originate from the international sector of Terminal A instead of Terminal B. Flights from the new terminal will operate to destinations in the Baltic States, Ukraine, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Greece, reported the press-centre of UTair.   

The decision to move European flights to the international sector of Terminal A was made to facilitate the convenience of passengers traveling from abroad with additional connecting flights to Russian cities beyond Moscow and vice versa. Information about the departure terminal for UTair's European flights will be printed on the ticket. A map of Terminal A and directions for how to get between the two terminals can be found on the UTair website.

The newly constructed, comfortable Terminal A was opened in July 2010, allowing UTair to provide its customers with higher service quality as well as additional opportunities for development and improvement of its own route network.

Vnukovo International is Moscow's 3rd largest airport and UTair's largest hub in the European part of Russia. UTair aircraft operate over 120 daily flights to more than 60 destinations in Russia and abroad from Vnukovo International Airport. UTair's network of daily connecting flights at Vnukovo gives passengers unique opportunities to fly to cities without direct flights between them. Of the estimated 5.9 million passengers UTair will serve through Vnukovo International Airport in 2012, 25% will transfer passengers. UTair began operating all of its domestic flights from Terminal A in Vnukovo in 2011.
