OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2012. TNK-BP held the first international interactive forum on industrial safety in its central office in Moscow participated by approximately 70 representatives of the company’s enterprises in Russia and throughout the world, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The management of TNK-BP and the chief engineers of subsidiaries from all regions of company presence, including Belarus, Ukraine, and Venezuela, discussed the current issues of health, industrial safety, and environmental protection and the key lines of development. The forum was held in the format of open discussion and interactive dialog, which facilitated searching of new nonstandard solutions for minimization industrial safety risks.

Elena Kompasenko, Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment, TNK-BP, said that she “sees a huge potential for further development of leadership skills in production and operation managers doing their best for compliance of TNK-BP and its contractors with the industrial safety standards and corporate values of TNK-BP” and that “this forum is a fine instrument for improving the efficiency of interaction, covering the entire range of views and opinions, sharing experience, and having open dialogs with leaders of the company streams and functions.”
