OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2012. The main achievement of the Ukrainians in preparation for Euro 2012 is the construction of four new airports and high-speed railway traffic. This was started by vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov in an interview with British journalists during their visit to the "Donbass Arena".

According to Borys Kolesnikov, a high-speed rail movement in Ukraine will be implemented from May 20.

"This connection is not as fast as a train goes from London to Paris. Nevertheless, our trains will move at a speed of 160-180 km/h that make fans, including English, to watch the Ukraine in a new way. This is a very big plus for the country's development", - vice Prime Minister of Ukraine said.

According to Borys Kolesnikov, objects, which were preparing for Euro 2012, have a great economic and social importance. According to him, high-quality transport infrastructure, in particular, modern international airports - a pledge of foreign investment to Ukraine, and therefore the taxes, the completion of the budget, that is, those funds that focus on social services (hospitals, schools, etc.).
