OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2012. In April, OJSC IC Allianz launched in the North-Western Region pilot sales of the new product Euro Assistance — a rider to the Green Card policy. In case if this local product launch is successful, sales will be conducted throughout the entire RF territory, reported the press-centre of Allianz.

The Allianz clients (both private individuals and legal entities) will be able to purchase the Euro Assistance only in case of purchasing the Green Card policy. The new rider product will expand the effective area of this policy necessary in case of car voyage along the number of countries participating in the international system Green Card.

Euro Assistance will be useful for the Russian drivers who may face certain difficulties in case of settling losses in a foreign insurance company. In case of a traffic accident in a foreign country, this product will enable the insurant to receive the insurance compensation directly from IC Allianz in Russia in case if he or she is not guilty in such accident. The holder of this rider policy will also be able to use a vehicle evacuation service in case if his or her vehicle can not move by itself as a result of a breakdown or a traffic accident.

The cost of this product is small, and it depends on the insured period: 600 roubles for 15 days, 750 roubles — for 1 to 5 months and 900 roubles for 6 to 12 months.
