OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2012.  The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told about that during the Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Forum in Amman. Viktor Yanukovych noted that the volume of mutual investments between the two countries barely exceeds USD 3 million.

At the same time, the President drew attention to the positive examples of bilateral economic interaction of countries that should be used. In particular, "NIBULON" effectively works in the Jordanian market today.

Since 2008, within the tenders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan, "NIBULON" delivered 989.947 tons of wheat, corn and barley. In the current marketing year, "NIBULON" has already delivered 198.823 tons of wheat and barley to Jordan in the framework of public tenders.

Moreover, speaking during the Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Forum, among the important sectors of the national economy development the President named agriculture, which has increased to almost 16% in 2010-2011. He also reminded that Ukraine has collected a record grain harvest last year – about 57 million tons. "Experts predict that the capacity of Ukraine’s agricultural sector will continue growing on a mid-term horizon," the President stressed.
