OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2012. The UAE delegation led by Director-General of Dubai Ruler's Court, chief executive director of Dubai Investment Cooperation, chairman of Dubai Bank, chairman of the board of directors of Dubai Islamic Bank, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev on April, 19. They also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

The delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs and the memorial monument for Turkish soldiers and laid a wreath at the monument, too.

Then Dubai delegation had been at the Ministry of Economic Development, met with the minister Mr. Shahin Mustafayev. The current economic relations and mutual investment opportunities were discussed in the meeting.

The vice-president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation Gulshan Rzayeva delivered information on social-economic achievements of Azerbaijan, favorable business climate and investment opportunities, also deputy executive director Rovshan Najaf briefed about activities of AIC and implemented projects, director of Caspian International Investment Company Togrul Kocharli informed participant about the activity of the company and investment projects in the event held at "Baku White city office building".

The director of "White city" project Ruslan Sadikhov gave comprehensive information on the project. It was noted that "White city" is one of the modern projects implemented in the regenerated industrial zone ecologically.

The tourism opportunities of our country, as well as investment projects of several Azerbaijani companies were presented in the event.

The projects aroused the Dubai delegation's great interest.

Within the framework of the visit to Azerbaijan the delegation led by Director-General of Dubai Ruler's Court, chief executive director of Dubai Investment Cooperation, chairman of Dubai Bank, chairman of the board of directors of Dubai Islamic Bank, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani will hold several meetings and pay a visit to the regions for acquaintance with tourism opportunities.
