OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2012. CSC sales volume reached 2.14 million MT for the first quarter of 2012, and shipments of March reached 811.3 thousand MT with great growth over the ones of January( 651.1 thousand MT) and February (682.3 thousand MT), reported the press-centre of China Steel Corporation. 

Pretax loss of Q1 2012 was NTD 978 million and pretax loss of January and February was NTD 734 million and NTD 573 million. Result of March turned profitable with the pretax profit of NTD 329 million.

Comparing to the pretax loss of NTD 2.42 billion for Q4 2011, the loss of Q1 2012 shrank by NTD 1.44 billion.
