Recently,General Motor(hereinafter,GM) held the 20th ceremony of 'supplier of the year' ceremony in Detroit Art Museum , 82 excellent suppliers were chosen by GM from totally 20 thousand attended the ceremony.As the only one Steel&Iron enterprise which is be awarded as ' the supplier of the year ',Baosteel dispatched representative to attend the meeting.This is the second time for Baosteel get the award after 2006, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.  

In recent year, Baosteel actively developed the cooperation with GM.Last year,both side got outstanding achievement on scale and depth of cooperation,because of the close cooperation between production ,marketing and research department of Automobile company.In market of Japan and Korea ,Baosteel became one of the main supplier of GM Korea.In Australia,Baosteel is providing the production to the main type of automobile of GM Horton. In American,Baosteel cooperate actively with the vendor of the factory of GM Mexico and South American,for promoting the application of high hardness automobile plate,meanwhile,providing the production to the original custom in North America. In India,Baosteel actively cooperate with the new market.strategy of GM,reached the agreement of strategy cooperation with GM India.

Right now,Baosteel is improving the capacity of supplying and serving of automobile plate,and the capacity of serving and supporting to the oversea customer will be upgraded further.the cooperation with Baosteel and GM will reach a highest level.
