OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2012. The new Donetsk station complex will be able to serve more than 35,000 passengers a day. All alteration work is completed and now experts are actively engaged in start-up works. This was announced by Head of Donetsk Railway Mykola Rogov.

The changes affected not only the exterior, but also the entire infrastructure of the station.

As the head of the Donetsk railway noted, special attention is given to passengers with disabilities.

Now the Donetsk station is ready to take the modern train of accelerated motion - "Hyundai" and "Skoda". They will provide high-speed service between Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mariupol, and Luhansk.

Preparations for Euro 2012 are carried out exclusively at its own expense the railroad. "Any penny of budget funds for construction of a new railway station, and upgrading the fast site is not spent" - the chief of the Donetsk railway Mykola Rogov summed up.
