OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2012. X5 Retail Group N.V. (“X5” and/or the “Company”), Russia's largest retailer in terms of revenue, announced that Vladimir Ashurkov, member of the Company’s Supervisory Board (the “Board”), has decided not to stand for reelection to the Board at X5’s 2012 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in order to pursue other interests, reported the press-centre of X5 Retail Group.

In accordance with Dutch corporate law, the General Meeting of Shareholders will be requested to appoint a replacement Board member from among two candidates nominated by the Board at the AGM to be held on 14 June 2012.
