RZD Changes Route of Passenger Train Moscow - Budapest
OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2012. In connection with the repair work currently being carried out in Hungary, from 16 April to 1 June 2012 the route of train number 15/16 "Tissa" Moscow - Budapest operated by Russia’s First Passenger Company, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, will be changed slightly on the stretch between Zahony – Budapest, reported the press-centre of RZD.
The train will travel via Kisvarda, Demecser, Tokaj, Szerencs, Miskolc-Tiszai and Fuzesabony stations.
Passengers traveling during this period on train No. 15 Moscow - Budapest to Debrecen, Nyiregyhaza, Szolnok or Hajduszoboszlo stations must disembark at Zahony station.
In the opposite direction, passengers should board train No. 16 Budapest - Moscow at Zahony station.
To reach these stations, passengers must change at Zahony station to train No. 6107 or No. 6205.
To travel from these stations to Zahony station, passengers must take train number No. 6206, then change to train number No. 16 Budapest - Moscow.
To travel on these local trains, passengers just have to present their original ticket for train No. 15/16 "Tissa" Moscow - Budapest.
The First Passenger Company apologises to passengers for the inconvenience.
