OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2012. Azerbaijan will take measures on stimulation of agricultural production through increase of subsidizing by 15%.

Department Head of Agricultural Ministry of Azerbaijan Islam Ibrahimov has reported that yesterday President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan ordered to consider the issues of accomplishment and increase of subsidies for agricultural producers.

"One of the measures on accomplishment of subsidizing mechanism iis granting subsidies to the farmers through plastic cards. We are also planning to increase types of subsidies and spheres they will cover, with application of Turkish experience",- I. Ibarhimov said.

In his words, the subsidies will cover strategic products manufacturers.

"The size of subsidies will rise by 10-15%",  - I. Ibrahimov said.
