OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2012. The average salary adjusted to inflation made up 3166 leis (USD 268,1) in February, 2012 in the economic sector of Moldova, which is 9,8% up as compared with February, 2011.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, its real size increased 3,4% adjusted to inflation. In the budget sector the average salary was 3028,5 leis, 16,6% up as compared with February, 2-11. In the real sector it grew 7% to 3234,6 leis.

The highest average salary was paid to workers of the banking sector and made 5947 leis(+6,3% against February, 2011). The average wage at heat-, power- and water -supplying companies made up 4805,9 leis (+2,9%) .The average wage at realtor companies amounted to 4748,4 лея (-6,8% against February, 2011).

The average salary in transport and communication companies increased by 13,4% to 3944,9 leis. The lowest average wages were given to workers of fishery and made 1328,6 leis (+0,8%),), and to farmers and workers of forestry, being 1727 leis (+13,8%).
