OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2012. The number of VAT payers who submit report via the Internet increased from 39% in early 2011 to 90% in 2012. This was started by the chairman of State Tax Service Oleksandr Klymenko during a meeting with representatives of trade and economic missions consisting of diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

"Availability of affordable and quality service encourages business to use the progressive form of their tax obligations. I will add another example: after the simplification of registration for VAT payers the number of applications for registration has tripled. Entrepreneurs are genuinely interested in such innovations, we are aware of responsibility for developing and implementing new services", - Oleksandr Klymenko said.

The official also said that his department will promote and support all proposals aimed at facilitating business and investment climate.

"The gradual reduction of tax rates is laid down in the law. And we are also ready to act on legislative initiatives in other aspects of tax policy: simplification of formalities, ease of payment and tax administration, etc. "- Oleksandr Klymenko summed up.
