OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2012. During a meeting with representatives of business circles of Lithuania in Vilnius, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov invited the representatives of Lithuanian business to invest in Ukraine.

"We welcome your business in Ukraine and favor when our businesses operating in Lithuania. Lithuania for us - a window to the EU ", - Mykola Azarov said.

At the same time PM stressed that the Ukrainian government on its part ensures favorable conditions for investment.

Thus, according to Mykola Azarov, the Cabinet for the last two years is actively pursuing a policy of deregulation and reducing administrative impact on business. In particular, he noted that from 600 species of licensing activity remained 60. Mykola Azarov also said that Ukraine has a new Tax Code, under which the number of taxes is reduced in twice and reduced income tax by 4%. He added that the current income tax is 21%, next year it will be 19% and in 2014 will be 16%. Also, reduced VAT, eg in 2014 the tax rate will be 17%. The Prime Minister said that now 70% VAT returns in automatic mode.

At the same time, the PM said that you can register a new business in Ukraine for 1-3 days.

"I want to hear from you suggestions what the Government could do more to ensure that business is easier to work in Ukraine" - Mykola Azarov summered up.
