OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2012. Family farms will remain the main supplier of milk to the market in coming years as bring the share of large commodity production to 80-90% can only in 5-10 years. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Mykola Azarov said that he familiarized with the work and the problems of producers and processors of milk in Bila Tserkva district of Kyiv region.

"I am convinced that there are great examples of successful farms of different lifestyles: a strong private farm of Mykola Kishchenko who feed four cows and most modern livestock farm "Terezyne" where thousands cows are fed. And technologically perfect, corresponding to European standards Bila Tserkva milk processing plant - said the Prime Minister. - I personally thankful to the people who created these success stories for their hard work and patience. This is evidence that economy different farms can effectively operate and co-exist".

PM noted that managers are the large commodity modern enterprises also stands for the support of farmers, because they understand that to bring the share of large commodity production to 80-90% we can only in 5-10 years. Meanwhile, farmers will be the main supplier of milk to the market.

Mykola Azarov assured that the Government will support peasants at most, particularly in a week will be considered at the Cabinet meeting mechanism of granting "in the hands of the peasant," which stimulates the production volumes of milk and meat and improve its quality.
