OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2012. The growing numbers of Ukrainian companies are resorting to transparent and civilized forms of doing business to be eligible for an automatic VAT refunds.

This was stated by the Head of STS Oleksandr Klymenko during a meeting with representatives of trade and economic missions as part of diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

"When this service has only appeared the attitude to it was skeptical. But now we mark the great interest of business towards an automatic refund. All were convinced that it is convenient, and to get access to the "automatic" is not too difficult - the criteria are simple and clearly defined by law," said O. Klymenko.

According to the head of tax service, now five times fewer the candidates for automatic compensation are dealing with questionable partners, and half from potential users of this service eliminated the tax arrears. In addition, companies refuse to wages "in envelopes".

"Today, every second hryvnia of the refunded VAT have been received on the accounts of taxpayers through the "automatic". I am confident that this indicator would rise substantially this year. Especially pleasant that is very actively and freely using this service foreign businessmen working in Ukraine, as this innovation has been introduced after studying of European experience," Oleksandr Klymenko underlined.

Recall, by the results of 2011 using an automatic refund the taxpayers have received 20 billion UAH of the VAT refunds (47% of the total amounts).
