OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2012. In order to meet the increased demand during the forthcoming holidays from 9 to 12 June 2012, Russian Railways will be laying on combined Allegro trains between St. Petersburg - Helsinki. The Allegro train normally consists of seven carriages, reported the press-centre of RZD.

The following trains will be laid on:

No. 35/154 - Helsinki - St. Petersburg departs on June 9. Passengers can board the first, main part of the train using carriages numbered 8 to 14. The second part, carriages 1 to 7, is closed to passengers along the whole route.

No. 155/36 - St. Petersburg - Helsinki, departing on June 9. Passengers can board all carriages numbered 1 to 14 of the combined train.

No. 37/156 - Helsinki - St. Petersburg departing on June 12. Passengers can board all carriages numbered 1 to 14 of the combined train.

No. 157/38 - St. Petersburg - Helsinki, departing 12 June. . Passengers can board the first, main part of the train using carriages numbered 8 to 14. The second part, carriages 1 to 7, is closed to passengers along the whole route.

The numbering of the carriages on trains departing from St. Petersburg starts from the head of the train and from the end of the train when departing from Helsinki. Changing from carriage No. 7 to carriage No. 8 en route is not possible.

Finnish time is shown on Finnish territory. Moscow time is shown in Russia.

Tickets for the Allegro go on sale 60 days before train departure.
