OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2012. Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), Anatoly Golomolzin, and Deputy Head of Mongolia’s Agency for Fair Competition and Consumer Rights, Samdan Ekhnbaatar, held a meeting in Moscow. A commercial-and-economic counselor of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Russian Federation, Dorjsuren Badarch, and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Russian Federation, Ayurzan Enkhjav, also took part in the meeting, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Anatoly Golomolzin talked about the principal changes in the antimonopoly law of the Russian Federation, FAS work under the framework of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Law of the CIS Member-States (ICAP) and the Headquarters for Joint Investigations of Violations of the Antimonopoly Law of the CIS Member-States.

At the meeting, the top executives discussed further prospects of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of competition law and enforcement and emphasized that relations between the antimonopoly bodies of Russia and Mongolia should be action-oriented, particularly, in order to support competition on cross-border markets (including the markets of telecommunications services and air transportation).
