OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2012. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent authorized by Rostelecom OJSC to pay interest on the eighth coupon of the company’s Series 04 bonds, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest at a rate of 6.5% per annum, or 32 rubles 41 kopecks per bond. In all, the Bank paid out 7,622,154 rubles 80 kopecks in coupon interest, less the tax withheld by the issuer.

Rostelecom OJSC offered its Series 04 five-year bond issue on February 15, 2011, by converting Series 08 bonds issued by Uralsviazinform OJSC that had merged with Rostelecom OJSC, to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter of the issue.
