OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2012. VOLIA, Ukraine’s leading national telecommunications provider, has announced that Mr. Alexander Hnydiuk has joined the company’s top management team as Technical Director (CTO).

In this position, Mr. Hnydiuk will be in charge of the company’s technical strategy. He will continue working at the ongoing projects of the Technical direction, in particular: HDTV launches, design and construction of network infrastructure to ensure the quality of services provided by the company, the centralization of head-ends, improving the quality of the network, the modernization of regional networks.

Alexander has over 10 years of practical experience in telecommunications.

Among his professional skills — implementation of projects of large-scale national data-transmission networks, establishment of operation system of telecommunication networks, management of geographically dispersed infrastructure on a national scale, including regional offices.

Previously he held executive positions in the Center of the Global Communications Ukraine, FreshTel and Golden Telecom.
