OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2012. In April Estonian Air Premium class passengers are served dishes prepared by restaurant Volga. The menu is composed by Chef de Cuisine Andres Markov, and consists of twelve meals. Serving of the meal depends on the length of the flight, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

For example, the menu consists of Chicken Cutlet in Curry Sauce, Vegetable and Potato Rosettes, and Pork Roll wrapped in Smoked Bacon with Red Wine Sauce, Stewed Red Cabbage and Potato Gratin.

Passengers can enjoy Panna Cotta with Raspberry Sauce and Filled Apple with Black Currant Sauce for dessert. All dishes are made of raw materials from Estonia.

On Monday, 9 April, a special gourmet flight on the Tallinn-London-Tallinn route will take place where Volga’s Chef de Cuisine Andres Markov will be personally serving and talking about the food and its concept.

Estonian Air Sky Restaurant, the project which was launched on 1 September 2011, has gained mainly positive feedback.

The restaurant project lasts 12 months where Estonian Air is aiming to introduce the very high level of Estonian restaurants for both guests visiting Estonia as well as Estonians.

This way Estonian Air is hoping to provide passengers with new taste experiences, enrich Estonian Air’s onboard meals and introduce different approaches of local chefs in food making in terms of tastes and usage of local raw materials.
