OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2012. The 20th meeting of the Working group on Communications Networks Management under the RCC Telecommunications Commission was conducted in Beltelecom, reported the press-centre of Beltelecom.

The Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications brings together the largest telecommunication companies of the CIS countries. Due to cooperation and joint decision making telecommunication sphere is constantly developing both technically and economically.

The meeting of the Working Group was attended by the leaders and experts of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, representatives of Beltelecom, Kazakhtelecom, Kyrgyztelecom, Moldtelecom, Rostelecom, Uzbektelecom, Ukrtelecom. Welcome speech was made by Sergey Nesterovich, Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus and Gennadi Melnikov, First Deputy Director General of Beltelecom.

The atmosphere of the anniversary meeting contributed to efficient work. During the meeting the participants summed up the 19 previous meetings and analyzed the 17-year activities of the Group. The experts shared their experience on the centralized network management project of Kazakhtelecom. The main issues discussed at the meeting: improvement of technological processes of operational and technical management of communication networks of carriers of the RCC member countries, key aspects of introduction of the document “The cooperation procedure of units of operational and technical management of communication networks on international directions”. The participants also shared their experience on implementation of the mechanism of Service Level Agreements (SLA) in terms of inter-carrier cooperation; moreover the lists of contact points and levels of responsibility on the issues of operational and technical management of communication networks on international directions were updated.

Working out framework concepts on communication services provision, on development of new technologies and universal service quality evaluation, RCC creates favorable conditions for further penetration of information and communication technologies into society",– said the First Deputy Director General of Beltelecom Gennadi Melnikov.
