OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2012. Central Asian International Consulting Company, IBC member, has launched Regional Central Asian Education Platform Programme together with its partners from Germany and Belgium: GOPA Consultants, DAAD and IBF International Consulting, reported the press-centre of IBC.

This EU funded CAEP Project is to support the regional component of the EU-CA Education Initiative launched under EU’s Central Asia Strategy for New Partnership with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in 2007.

The CAEP Project will define topics and subject areas with high potential for regional synergies in the modernization of the education systems. These topics and subject areas will be discussed on conferences and workshops first at national and then at regional level by decision-makers, managers and subject experts of the education sector.

The topics and subject areas will be identified and agreed prior to the conferences and workshops in CAEP education need assessments. The needs assessments will be focused on two main questions:

- What the country can offer to the regional partners and what it would like to share with them?

- What would the country expects to gain from regional cooperation with EU support?

The identified and agreed topics and subject areas will be subject to research studies helping to prepare, implement and follow-up the conferences and workshops. For additional expertise broadly acknowledged national and EU experts of the related subject area will be attracted. Apart from this, the whole spectrum of donors in education will be invited. The process of communication and interaction will be supported by an interactive website presenting all project results. One of the main outcomes will be a mapping database, containing completed, ongoing and planned programs and project of various donors and beneficiaries with potential for regional dissemination.

Mass media, which are interested in further information, can register with the representative of the company Jipar Shabdankulova at Central Asia International Consulting (+996 312 66 46 87).
To ensure effective organization of regional synergies out of technical assistance programs in education in the five Central Asian countries, CAEP asks to fill in the General Questionnaire on education-related issues. The General Questionnaire may be downloaded below.
