OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2012. Kompanion Financial Group, IBC member, is holding Development Fair throughout Kyrgyzstan these days.  Residents of the country’s sixteen regions are taking part in the agricultural fairs, which aim to develop regional knowledge by demonstrating seedlings of the best species of fruit trees, as well as the best pedigree livestock from each region, reported the press-centre of IBC.

The main goal of the Fair is to promote agriculture from all of Kyrgyzstan’s regions, and to provide farmers with the opportunity to showcase their products and livestock at a common venue. The campaign’s goal is to promote the important idea of sustainable development, the strengthening of agriculture in the country, and the conservation and rational, careful use of natural resources by all citizens, because these play a critical role in ensuring the growth of economy and well-being of the country. Over 40,000 people and representatives from more than 500 communities from all around the country are expected to participate.

“Apart from fulfilling Kompanion’s own mission, we are contributing to the Kyrgyz Government’s ‘Stability and Decent Life Program’, one of the priority directions of which is to improve the quality of seed material and agricultural crop hybrids and provide access to them,” noted Ulanbek Termechikov, Kompanion Financial Group’s Chief Executive Officer.

The Development Fair is featuring concerts by Kyrgyz stars: Joldoshbek Janjigit uulu, Kumondor Abylov, Altinay Narbaeva, Kutman Joldosheva, Kyz-Burak music band, Omar, Toktobek Asanaliev, Gulnara Toygonbaeva, Gulzinat Suranchieva, Yryskeldi Osmonkulov, and Jamilya Muratova.
