OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2012. The number of railcars handled at the Port of Ust-Luga cars in January-March 2012 totaled 109,489 units, a twofold growth year-over-year, Ust-Luga Company said.

In March 2012, loading/unloading of railcars at the port railyard rose to 38,895 units, up 1.9 times from the same period a year earlier.

In 2011, JSC Port of Ust-Luga Transport Company, handling rolling stock at the port, loaded / unloaded 340,943 cars. JSC POOL Trans carries out maintenance of on-dock railways infrastructure, as well as side tracks, owned by the port’s terminals.
