OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2012. On March 31, 2012, project investment agreements of “Chongqing Limited Partner on Equity Investment Fund for Development of Tourism” and “China (Chongqing) Trading Centre on International Tourism of Three Gorges” were officially signed. 

Tan Qiwei entitled deputy mayor of Chongqing Municipality attended the signing ceremony. Tan Qiwei expressed that along with the signing of the two cooperative agreements, Chongqing tourism will develop its effects comprehensively.

“Chongqing Limited Partner on Equity Investment Fund for Development of Tourism” is composed of Chongqing Urban and Rural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Hanxi Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hanxi Company). The first batch of privately offered fund brought into Chongqing in 2011 is from Hanxi Company. According to the plan, Hanxi Company will collect RMB 5 billion at abroad within 3 years for the main purpose of developing Chongqing tourism and its supporting industries. 

In the meantime, Chongqing Yuelai Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Chongqing Urban and Rural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and Hanxi Company signed the project investment agreement of “China (Chongqing) Trading Centre on International Tourism of Three Gorges” and reached a consensus in cooperation. 

The project of China (Chongqing) Trading Centre on International Tourism of Three Gorges is planned to be established in Yuelai Exhibition City of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. China (Chongqing) Trading Centre on International Tourism of Three Gorges is the first professional market in China in terms of marketing of tourism projects, exhibition and sales of tourism commodities and allocation of tourism resources, and it will bear the functions of generating tourism culture, commodities and industry of Three Gorges, exhibiting and selling global tourism cultures and commodities and city supporting within area of new Yuelai Exhibition City, becoming the core project which Chongqing Municipal Tourism Bureau strives to create in terms of tourism trading and settlement. After the completion of this project, development of tourism of Three Gorges will be greatly promoted, stimulating the growth of regional economy within the reservoir area of Three Gorges.
