Consumer Credit was down to USD 8.74 bn vs consensus forecast of USD 12bn.

Asian indices were down on Monday. Japanese Nikkei was down by 1.34%, Kospi was down by 1.59%. Chinese indices were down by 0.6% on average – CPI rose by 3.6%, above consensus forecast of a 3.3% rise.

European, UK exchanges are closed today for the observance of the Easter Monday.
