OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2012. AS Tallink Grupp increased the passenger volumes by 7.6 percent and vehicle and cargo transportation volumes by 6.9 and 2.7 percent respectively in March.

Tallink transported altogether 712 054 passengers in March. On the route between Estonia and Finland Tallink transported 329 399 (+10%) passengers, on the route between Finland and Sweden 248 590 passengers (-0.6%). On the route between Estonia and Sweden Tallink transported 83 443 passengers (+26.5%). On the route between Latvia and Sweden there were 50 622 passengers transported (+8.6).

The number of transported vehicles also increased in the last month. Tallink transported 75 427 passenger vehicles (+6.9%), the number of cargo units increased by 2.7 percent to 25 409 in March.
