Deutsche Bank New Office in Moscow Receives LEED Gold Certificate
OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2012. Deutsche Bank’s new office in
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certification – an internationally recognized mark of excellence – provides independent verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
In the new office Deutsche Bank implemented many innovative and progressive ideas in the field of ecology. Finishing and decoration of the new office’s three floors is done of FSC-certified wood and partially made of recycled materials using the technologies for substantial water and power saving and decreasing carbon emission. Facts:
20% recycled materials were used in interior furnishing
20% regional materials, i.e. materials from a radius of
51% water saving by means of using special fixtures and toilet taps
20% lightning power saving
30% increase of free incoming air
refusal to use CFC (chlorfluorcarbon)
