OREANDA-NEWS. April 03, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that “Liga” Ltd. and “Skoropuskovsky Sintez” Ltd. violated Clauses 1 and 3 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” on the wholesale market of multifunctional modifiers for rubber compositions, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The FAS Commission established that the respondents concluded an oral agreement about fixing and maintaining prices and dividing the market according to the sales volume and the composition of buyers (customers). The agreement also specified exchanging information and documents about the sales volume and prices in the Russian Federation.

“The companies will be imposed turnover fines. In view of the size of the unlawful income gained by the respondents, the FAS Commission will transfer the file on the antimonopoly case to the Ministry of Interior to consider initiating a criminal case”, said the Head of FAS Cartel Department, Alexander Kinyov.
