OREANDA-NEWS. April 03, 2012. After a pause year, SORAINEN has won its third “Baltic Law Firm of the Year” award at the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) European Awards 2012, held in London. SORAINEN had already been honoured with this international acknowledgement two years in a row back in 2009 and 2010. IFLR established the award for Baltics in 2008, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

SORAINEN received the award for its contribution to the most complex and innovative international transactions in the Baltic region in 2011. Recognition came in particular for legal and tax assistance in Hitachi's strategic investment in the new nuclear power plant project in Lithuania, the cross-border merger of Heidelberg Druckmaschinen subsidiaries in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Finland, drafting PPP documentation for the approx EUR 1.5 billion Riga Northern Transport Corridor Project and advising on Elering's EUR 225 million debut Eurobond issue on the London Stock Exchange.
