OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. II meeting of Azerbaijani- Lithuanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation has come to the end in Baku.

Following the meeting the Commission Co-Chairman, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Azhubalis stated that State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Lithuanian liquefied natural gas terminal are discussing future cooperation prospects today.

" Lithuania is interested in attraction of Azerbaijani investors and implementation of this project. The meeting between heads of SOCAR and Lithuanian liquefied natural gas terminal will be held today",- A. Azhubalis said.

Today Baku hosted the meeting of II Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. Following the meeting a protocol was signed construing cooperation development in energy, agriculture, tourism, youth and sport, education and other spheres.

The next meeting of Intergovernmental Commission will be held in Vilnius in 2013.
