OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. Belarus’ beer output increased 28.2% on the year in January-February 2012 to 6.343 million decaliters, a representative in the concern Belgospischeprom told reporters.

OJSC Krinitsa, based in Minsk, produced 1.95 million decaliters of beer, up 43.3% on the year.

OJSC Olivaria, based in the city of Minsk, produced 1.275 million decaliters of beer in January-February 2012, an increase of 23.3% on the year.

OJSC Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 23.1% to 1.007 million decaliters.

OJSC Brest Beer produced 431,200 decalitres of beer, up 9.4%.

Heineken Breweries companies’ output reached 1.67 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 24.1% on the year.

Beer output in plastic bottles accounts for 82.9% of the total output at 5.258 million decaliters (up 30.8%), beer glass bottles - 11.5% to 732,300 decaliters (up 12.3%), beer in kegs 4.5% at 282,400 decaliters (up 16%) and beer in cans - 1.1% at 70,500 dal (150% up).

Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 22.6% on the year in January-February 2012 to 5.212 million decaliters.

Krinitsa sales went up 26.1% to 1.445 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 16.9% to 1.0480 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 17.5% to 845,000 decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer went up 7.3% to 294,500 million decaliters, of Heineken Breweries companies increased 29.9% to 1.57 million decaliters.

Belarusian companies’ export of beer grew 9.7% to 673,600 decaliters. Krinitsa’s exports rose 9.7% to 464,600 decaliters, Lidskoe Pivo exported 110,500 decaliters, up 63.2%. Olivaria exported 22,900 decaliters, up 21.8%, Brest Beer 49,600 decaliters, up 14.3%.

Heineken Breweries companies’ export fell 42.3% to 26,000 decaliters of beer.
