OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. Belarus has raised by 7.1% maximum retail prices of white sugar.

The selling price of white sugar available in 0.5-1 kilo packaging shall be Br7,500 by the kilo.

Sugar prices were last raised on October 23, when a 10% hike fetched the price to the point of Br7,000 per kilogram.

The move is intended to narrow the disparity in sugar prices with the neighbouring states.
