OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. A delegation led by co-chair of the Uzbek-British Trade & Industry Council (UBTIC), Dr Hartley Booth, held negotiations with the management of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company, Uzbekneftegaz’s press service said.

The delegation included representatives of ten British companies, working in such sectors as industry, road construction, production of equipment for oil and gas processing, insurance, engineering, personnel training, etc.

During the meeting, the sides underlined that the side have common grounds for mutual beneficial dialogue. The sides agreed to establish detailed information exchange.

At the end of the meeting, Dr Hartley Booth said that the British side follows development of oil and gas sector in Uzbekistan with enthusiasm. He said that Great Britain sees high potential of industry, related with introduction of new technologies. He expressed hope that the companies within the delegation will be useful in this direction.
