OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. Mikhail Skorokhod, president of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding met with the governor of the Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenkoin the building of the Administration of the Belgorod Region.

The meeting was also attended by Victor Hludeev, Director General of “Belgorod cement”, JSC which is included in the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding.

The main topic of the discussion was the interaction between “EUROCEMENT group”, JSC and the Administration of Belgorod Region in socio-economic development.

The meeting between the Government of the Belgorod Region and the management of the Holding resulted in the fact that an agreement on cooperation in several areas has been reached. Particular attention was paid to the waste recycling for further use as an alternative fuel.

In addition, in order to prepare qualified personnel for the holding, it was decided to equip classrooms of “Professional school ? 4 of Belgorod” with modern technical devices.

For his part, Governor of the Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenko noted positive results in the Belgorod and Stary Oskol cement plants according to the results of 2011, and also praised the prospects of both plants included in the Holding for the development of the growing economic potential of the region in 2012.
