OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. Mikhail Skorokhod, president of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding paid working visit to “Kavkazcement”, JSC. President of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding was accompanied by Sergei Shcherbakov, Head of the human resources department, Sergey Susev, Deputy Head of Strategic Planning Department and Victor Guskov, Head of the Mining Department in the  inspection trip to the best plant of the holding.

The inspection began with a traditional visit to the production facilities. The first place of the visit was a quarry and then “Nedra”, JSC factory. The inspection team visited all the production shops on the territory of the plant. These included clinker burning department, department of raw materials separation and cement grinding, as well as quality control department and plant’s laboratory. Department of shipment and packaging of cement was the final place of the visit. 

The second part of the visit was held in the format of the meeting with the top, senior and middle managers, senior specialists and personnel reserve of “Kavkazcement”, JSC. The visit of the holding management coincided with death anniversary of former Director General of the plant Zaur Zeushev. The meeting observed a moment of silence in his memory.

In the working part of the meeting Mikhail Skorokhod, president of the “EUROCEMENT group” Holding informed participants about the strategy of development of cement industry of Russia in general and in the Holding in particular. He identified priorities for the coming years. The main part of the meeting was devoted to a report made by department heads and senior specialists on the working results of the past year and goals for 2012. Many production problems were announced in the report. The problems, stated in the report, were reflected in the appropriate actions which will be taken in order to address identified deficiencies of the prospective development of the plant. Particular attention was paid to personnel reserve training for all plant departments.
