OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. The ceremony of presentation of prizes to nominees and holders of “Media Person – 2011” award established by Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk media holding took place. Executive Director of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” Yevgeny Zhadovets became the Award holder in category “Company of the Year”. He received a diploma “For Keeping the Region Warm”.

“Media Person of the Year” award was established by Komsomolskaya Pravda media holding in Krasnoyarsk in 2011. Following 2011 results, 8 categories and 22 contenders were identified. Komsomolskaya Pravda nominated for the Award ministers, chief executive officers of federal authorities, public and cultural leaders, sportsmen as well as chief executive officers of industrial enterprises.

In cooperation with experts the Contest organizers identified the persons that not only had made a significant contribution to the territory development but also had been interesting newsmakers open for communication with journalist and prepared to answer any question, even if difficult or challenging. Included in the nominees were persons having readily provided help and assistance in coverage of issues that met most active response on the part of readers and radio listeners. The factor, alongside with the experts’ opinion, was decisive in selection of the laureates.

The organizers confessed that choosing from among the nominees had been a hard job. In 2011 250 persons became speakers of the 170 events of the Komsomolskaya Pravda press centre, participated in the 3,000 news broadcasts and topical newspaper and radio with over 7,000 materials published on the Web-site

Among the members of the Award Expert Board are Deputy Minister of Industry and Power Industry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Denis Pashkov, Deputy of the Territorial Legislative Assembly Aleksey Kleshko, Advisor to Governor of the Territory Gennady Ruksha, the multiple Russian and world champion in rock-climbing Tatyana Ruyga, the globally famous opera singer Dmitry Khvorostovsky and other highly respectable persons. Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper readers, Web-site visitors and radio listeners not only closely followed the Award proceedings but also expressed their opinion of the nominees, voting for them.

Among the laureates there are people well-known territorially such as Sergey Lomanov, Head Coach of “Yenisei” ice hockey club (category “Sport Event of the Year”), Vadim Yanin, Minister of Healthcare of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (“Minister of the Year”), Irina Prokhorova, a co-founder of M. Prokhorov Fund (“Cultural Event of the Year”), Vadim Vostrov, General Director of TVK-6 TV company (“TV Event of the Year”) and others. In category “Family of the Year” the prize was awarded to Tatyana and Fanil Vafins, parents to a large family. Notably, the family of Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Lev Kuznetsov and his wife Inga distinguished themselves in the same category. In 2011 the couple gave birth to a sixth child.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory there are dozens of companies that shape the development of the region economy, industry and social sphere, ensuring public welfare promotion. JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”, Krasnoyarsk Railway branch of JSC “Russian Railways” and “V-Sibpromtrans” became laureates in category “Company of the Year”.
