OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. The final stage of the land reform will be the releasing of the moratorium and the introduction of the agricultural land market. During the last year realization of the land reform has been intensified. To speed up the solution of a number of extremely important issues of land relations, given that the draft law "On Land Market" postponed, State Agency of Land Resources, given the social significance of this comprehensive document, initiates the introduction of its specific provisions in separate legislation. Last week it was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill number 10231 on the release of land auctions. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine Sergiy Tymchenko today during a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers.

Experts of the State Agency of Land Resources have developed standardized clear and transparent rules for land auctions; this on the one hand, will help formulate a competitive fair price, on the other - to attract investors. According to preliminary estimates, this year the budgets of various levels will get several billion UAH as a result of transparent trading that would prevent the use of gray schemes and will negate corruption in this area.

Currently the work in high gear under the draft law on land consolidation, which will decide the fate of abandoned and unreclaimed heritage shares, and this - more than 3 million hectares of fertile land. The State Agency of Land Resources has recently activated rulemaking land relations. The Agency has developed a number of bills introduced to Parliament, has prepared draft resolutions of the Government, with the adoption of which significantly will be improved services for citizens, and increased revenues to the state and local budgets.
