Uzbekenergo Started Construction of Combined-Cycle Power Station
OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. First stone of the foundation of new block of combined-cycle power station has been laid at Tashkent thermal power station.
Tashkent thermal power station, which is located in Qibray city near Tashkent city, hosted a solemn ceremony of the laying the first stone of new block of combined-cycle power station with the capacity of 370 megawatt.
Uzbekenergo state joint stock company is customer of the project with the cost of US8 million.
The project is implemented by consortium of foreign firms, which includes the Czech company SYNECTA a.s.
The project will be implemented by two subsidiaries – Slovak firms SYNECTA a.s. Sala and the Uzbek firm SYNECTA Central Asia a.s.
