OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2012. Forbes.ru has again named Sviaz-Bank 22nd among the 100 biggest banks in March 2012, with 220.8 billion rubles in assets. In Forbes estimates, individuals keep 16.8 bullion rubles on deposit with the Bank, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Over the previous year, the Bank’s assets have grown by 28%, with personal deposits having increased by 24%. An increase in the Bank’s portfolio by 46 billion rubles, or 58%, was the principal factor contributing to the growth in its assets.

The Bank has also had its reliability upgraded to 4 of a maximum five grades. In Forbes’s view, Sviaz-Bank is in the same reliability category as Gazprombank, Alfa-Bank, Rosbank, and Promsviazbank.
