OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2012. Mikhail Polunin has been appointed manager of Sviaz-Bank’s branch in St.Petersburg, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Mikhail Polunin was born in Omsk in 1974. In 1996, the graduated from the Omsk State Technical University in automated data processing and management systems. In 2002, he graduated from the National Extramural Institute of Finance and Economics in finance and credit.

Mikhail Polunin has been in the banking business for over ten years, starting out in 2001 as an economist for the representative office of KMB-Bank CJSC in Omsk. Within a very short time, he rose to manager of the Samara branch of KMB-Bank CJSC, and went on to become manager of the same bank’s branch in St.Petersburg in 2004.

Following next were a succession of executive positions at Trust National Bank OJSC, KB Otkrytie CJSC, and the branch of VTB Bank OJSC in St.Petersburg.

Between December 2011 and his appointment as manager of Sviaz-Bank’s branch in St.Petersburg, Mikhail Polunin was head of a regional project of Sviaz-Bank’s Network Management and Development Department.
