OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. The cutting-edge equipment of domestic produce is intended for prompt disconnection of damaged grid sections to prevent emergency situations.

State-of-the-art absolute selectivity protections have been for the first time installed on the overhead lines connecting the critical facilities of “Vologdaenergo” branch of IDGC of the North-West, JSC – “Tsentralnaya” 110/35/10/6 kV substation and the 110 kV distribution substation of Vologda CHP. The cutting-edge equipment of domestic produce is intended for prompt disconnection of damaged grid sections to prevent emergency situations.

The protections are based on ShE 2607 091 type differential protection cabinet manufactured by “EKRA” Research and Production Enterprise using multiplexers by “NATEX” Group of Companies and fibre optic channels for line end connection of the protection subsets. All in all, two protection cabinets have been installed at both “Tsentralnaya” substation and the Vologda CHP 110 kV distribution substation.
