OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. March 22, 2012 - the International rating agency Fitch Ratings confirmed the current level of credit ratings of Belarusbank: "B/B-", outlook "Negative".

From the rating agency's point of view, credit ratings of Belarusbank reflect an acceptable position in relation to liquidity and funding indicators as well as ongoing economic stabilization in the Republic of Belarus (improvement of currency market conditions, increase in gold and foreign exchange reserves as of 01.01.2012, decrease in current accounts deficit, etc).

As analysts of the Fitch Ratings agency inform, credit ratings of Belarusbank depend significantly on sovereign creditability and capacity of the government to support banking system of the country. In the nearest future rating outlook in respect of Belarusbank can be changed into "Stable" subject to continuation of economic stabilization in the Republic of Belarus and improvement of sovereign credit ratings indicators.
