OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. Harmonization of technical regulations of Ukraine and the Customs Union will help to remove barriers in mutual trade.

This was stressed by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during meeting with head of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Hristenko.

"We are interested that our regulations will be harmonized at most that there will not be controversial issues about the quality of products", - Mykola Azarov said adding that now 24 technical regulations are getting through interagency working.

The Prime Minister also called the Eurasian Economic Commission to intensify efforts to harmonization of technical regulations.

The Head of Government informed that on March 29-30 in Kyiv will be held a meeting of the working group of experts from Ukraine and the CU, the main item on the agenda will be to bring to the order technical regulations.
