OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. Whereas in 2002 they were about 2,49 bln. leis, in 2011 the customs receipts increased 4,8 times to 11,89 bln. leis, the Customs Service of Moldova informs.

This is 21,9% up as compared with 2010. The portion of Customs receipts to the state budget increased from 64,5% in 2010 to 72,3% in 2011. Customs receipts made up 9,69 bln. leis in 2008 in Moldova, being 69,3% of the state budget incomes.; in 2009 they were 7,69 bln. leis (66,5%).

In 2011 majority of means was received from VAT collections and made up 8,54 bln. leis, 22,3% up as compared with 2010. The 2011 budget also contributed from excise collection which were 2,18 bln. leis (+28,2%).Customs duties made up 832,67 mln. leis (+9,6%), incomes from customs clearance were 305,78 mln. leis (+22,6%).

Last year, it was registered record -breaking collections of all kinds of customs duties, with the exception of special duties, which made up 2,2 mln. leis, 10,6 times less than in 2011.
