OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) took part in the interregional conference "Development of Regional Banking Sector and Improvement of Its Trustworthiness as a Basis for Sustainable Economic Growth and Modernization" in the Tyumen Region. The conference was organized by the Association of Regional Russian Banks and the Tyumen Regional Duma, reported the press-centre of SME Bank.

The conference was attended by Anatoliy Aksakov, President of the Association of Regional Russian Banks, Yuri Holmanskiy, Vice-Chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma, Tatiana Krupina, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region, other officials and representatives from federal and regional banks.

Addressing the conference Nadezhda Martynova, Deputy Chairman of SME Bank said: "SME Lending Support Program is implemented in the Tyumen Region via 11 partner banks and 17 infrastructure institutions, the size of SME lending in the region has exceeded 3.5 billion rubles". The representatives of governmental authorities and business community were informed about new priorities of the Program - modernization, innovative, resource saving and energy efficient SME projects.
